Adora's Magic Top Ten Best Baby Shower Games

While planning a baby shower with over 50 guests can be overwhelming, finding activities such as games to keep the patrons occupied can be hectic. Alot of times, the hosts scramble to find good games to play as well as getting prizes for the winners. I went over to http://www.babyshower101.com/ where they have hundreds of game ideas.  I chose the following because it seemed less complicated and more fun.

Baby Shower of The Day: Pickles and Ice Cream

Awhile back wayyyy before I started Adora's Magic, I saw many ideas for a baby shower theme. The one that caught my eye the most was this Ice Cream and Pickles theme from the forum of ChocolateBrides.com. It is rumored that the most popular craving of pregnant moms is ice cream and pickles. Newark Now's 2nd Annual Family Success Community Baby Shower April 9,

On April 9, 2011, I decided to lend a helping hand by volunteering at Newark Now's 2nd Annual Family Success Community Baby Shower that was held at the Robert Treat Hotel. After walking in and being greeted by Chesha Hodge, Director of Newark Now’s Family Success Centers, I went straight to work. The place was beautifully decorated with pink and blue balloons. There were big jumbo gift bags filled with bottles, clothes, diapers, and toiletries given to all the mothers that were attending the event. Information tables were set up by organizations with services in health, counseling, and financial assistance.

For awhile, I have thought of selling baby shower packages at Adora's Magic. I had my first experience doing one for my family friend Tiffany whose sister was having a baby shower. Her set included:

*4 Tier Diaper Cake (Over 100 diapers)

*Small Diaper Wreath

*150 Washcloth lollipops with personalized ribbons

*6 2-Tier Diaper Cakes as table centerpeices (24 diapers)

(Baby Shower Set sell for $300)

The one thing I know I must get a handle on...is time management. Doing 150 washcloths is no joke...especially when Adora's Magic is a one-woman show. However, the things I produced for this baby shower put a smile on my client's face.
